Skipping to Roottreemania
Here’s instructions on how to skip ahead to Roottreemania with the Steam version of The Roottrees are Dead. You might want to do this if you previously played the itch.io version of the game.
Warning: The base game of The Roottrees are Dead has changed, and by skipping you will miss out on this content that ties into Roottreemania. You might also be surprised at how fun it can be to replay the game even if you’ve already beaten it before. A lot of players are amazed at how challenging it can be a second time.
Instructions

Download STEAMID-user-flags.save to your computer.

Find your 17 digit Steam id by logging into Steam, clicking “Account details” in the top right hand corner of the screen. It will be displayed below the header of the page.

Rename the STEAMID-user-flags.save to include your ID. For example, if it was 11111111111111111, the filename would be 11111111111111111-user-flags.save

Copy the file into the Roottrees save file location.
